    Default A New Jig?

    For me anyway.

I just thought about making a sparkle jig that is much like my Glow Jigs, but without any Glowing. I think these can have the mixed colors like this, or gold, silver for sure and I think red and blue sparkles.

This is not a soft plastic body, but still feels kind of like a firm soft plastic that is extremely tough.

I need to add that the body base color is white and the blue marabou reflects on it to make it look not so white.

    So what do you think.....

Put it on a smaller hook. Looks good but just too much hook showing. A smaller hook will still catch those big uns.

LOL, actually that jig head painted white was just sitting there in front of me and there really was not any thought put into that, but it's a size #4 and I use from that size to a #8 on everything I make.

I love the little ones in the spring the best for sure.

Now I need to try out some other colors as this one was just to see how they would look with lots of sparkles in it.

Any thoughts on gold or just silver sparkles and maybe what base color would be good? I am going to try some others for sure.

    Thanks,

skip, that jig is awesome. I'm about to start tying(still buying needed materials) and I hope I can one day be at that level. Are those available to buy through your website?

I have not put a picture on there yet, but I can make some for you if you want. I have that color of mixed glitter and I have Gold, Silver, Blue and Chartreuse. I have not tried with a different color base color yet, but I think it's going to be very good too. The only problem is they take ma a lot longer to make than what a regular jig takes so I would need to charge more than my regular just hand tied jigs. I know it would not be more than the Glow Jigs and probably a little less.

Let me know if you want some and I will get a price for you and I will also go on and try other colors for a base.

Just PM me if you need any,
