Thanks for the update skip. Sounds like things are getting better for him. There is definitely power in prayer.
Well just to update anyone interested my son is now in Florida working with SOCOM and since he's been there they have had him going to a hyperbolic chamber every day for a couple of hours. It has helped a good bit with helping to close some of his open wounds on his legs. Before this it seemed that they would just keep being a big time pain in the rear and would not close up.
It looks like he will stay at that base for at least the next 3-4 years. I think he is the lowest ranking person working for SOCOM at E6. This base security is different than the other bases he has been on.
He is at MacDill Air Force Base which in case you don't know is a mixed base and is central Command. It is in Tampa FL.
Here is a unit run down at that base...
MacDill Air Force Base Units
In addition to the 6th Air Mobility Wing, MacDill Air Force Base is also home to more than 50 Mission Partners, including United States Central Command and United States Special Operations Command. The presence of these two unified commands and other Mission Partners creates a unique multi-service community at MacDill, with all branches of service represented. So although MacDill is an Air Force Base, it is also home to many soldiers, sailors and Marines.
It is a beautiful spot to live right on the bay with a good view from his front door.
He still has a long way to go with the rehab, but he's getting better all the time.
I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support throughout this.
