shallow near wood
Just curious as to what part of the lake everyone looks for crappie when the water temp is 54 and it's late November/early December. I'm thinking of working the main channel. Any thoughts?

shallow near wood
I would hit the mouths of any creeks or ditches dumping into the deeper water there on a feeding frenzy. These make good ambush points for the they can sit and let the food come to them. These shallow areas next to the deep wintering holes make great places to start and I bet you wont have to move to far from them.

Tap, Last year about this time, We found them 4 to 6 feet deep in depths of 6 to 10 at about that water temp. I'd check creek channel ledges for scattered fish with a C&C rig. CF
