I am sorry to say - the rumors are true. My sources on the inside have confirmed them. Nobody's fault, they say. Everyone saw it coming a few years ago when some of the bass pros accidently came across a big school of crappie. One-by-one, the pros started dropping out of the tournaments and it is getting so bad that FLW has decided to make this the last year for bass tournamnets. From now on, all the big $$ and sponsors are going to focus on crappie tournaments. Looks like those guys will take over all the best crappie lakes and none of the crappie.com regulars will be able to fish in peace again.
Speaking of regulars, I was also told that a few of the 'regulars' here are actually 'advanced scouts' for the bass - I mean - crappie pros. THey have been recording where everyone is placing their Death Stars and plan on publishing a book showing their whereabouts. (If you go back and read some of their posts, you can probably figure out who they are.)
Sorry day for crappie fishing when those bass ...... get involved!!!
