    I don't see any way to mount a reel nor do I see any line guides except the tip. I assume the line runs through the rod and wraps around the butt some way. That is not a good situation for spidder rigging in my opinion.

    A 2 lb slab on a 30 ft rod in a 16 ft boat does present a netting opportunity however.
