What kind of jigs are you using. Don't think I have ever saw that color in a crappie jig?
Thanks
Today it was warmer at daylight than it was at 8 but we hung in there and managed to catch these by 9 or so. I bought this new stuff called spike-it garlic dip and it will turn whatever you dip in it chartreuse in just a second. We tipped some pumpkinseed jigs just the tail and it seemed to turn the fish on. We caught most of the fish at 8 to 10 feet deep in 15 foot of water. Believe it or not they were slow to hit and had to be finesses or talked into hitting the jigs. If the wind will lay in the morning it should be a great day for fishing and some Roll Tide football about dark Saturday.

Happy thanks giving
Love, what more can I say
Days like today anywhere you can get out of the wind and waves and not get thrown in the water. We have mostly fished slopes and flats in 15 foot of water in the lower part of the lake.Originally Posted by bentpole
