Default Your favorite jigs??? Here's mine.

I order all my jigs with the same size hook normally. 1/16, 1/8, & 1/4 oz with #4 hooks.I normally don't care if the head is painted or not but recently have been experimenting with some paints. Not sure yet if it helps but they sure are pretty.

    Brown Bug (tan/blue)
    Sour Apple (Chartruese/blue)
    Barbie (pink/blue)
    Pumpkin Pie (Orange/orange/tan)
and this months favorite, Grasshopper. (Green/yellow/green)

I get mine from Jigum Jigs but if you tie your own the're easy to make.

Nice jigs Mr Paty! You guys in Texas like that tan/blue combo. I can`t get over the lack of Charttreuse though. Especially in our tails over we love Chart in the southeast.

I like the sour apple, but I use a different blue on my personal ones and they do work well.

Last time out I did catch a few on the Grasshopper one too.

    Love all pink!

However I have a very long relationship with the one on the top left and both with marabou as well as hackle. Top Right is my Chart/Blue and it also I use in both feathers.

In my opinion (for what that's worth) 90% of the time it doesn't matter what color jig or color tail you use. It's that other 10% of the time that drives us crazy and makes us carry a bunch of jig colors.

Personally I usually tie one jig on and fish with it until I lose it. Sunday I caught all my fish on the 1/8 oz. Grasshopper because that's all I fished with. Would they have hit something else? Most likely.

When someone is outfishing us we all hate to admit that it's our fault so we blame it on the jig color or size. Remamber, most of the time it's not the jig it's the jigger.
    Good fishing.

    Default I agree

I fished two straight mornings under the same bridge. There were a bunch of guys fishing from the bank both mornings. One man however was catching five to everyone elses one. They were fishing the same white jigs and he even loaned some of his out. He was doing a little something different they couldn't pick up on.
