With the water levels so low I decided to buy the SI HSK mounting kit. I couldn't see damaging that big honker . It's a shoot through the haul xduser and a switch. It seems to work good and I'm real surprised at how much you loss when shooting through the haul. I've got the honker mounted up under the step where hopefully it won't get hurt.

should be ok,,a friend of mine has 1 that was done at the ranger factory and the outside 1 was mounted between the hull and the motor just under the jack plate made a neet out of the way fit, then when on plane you just throw a switch to set the base unit to the glassed in t-ducer ,so far all has worked well---fuzz
