Default Crappie fishing on the Big Pond

I live in Bowling Green, KY but was born in Milan, TN. Still have family in Paris. I fished with my grandfather when I was a kid at Big Sandy. We put our boat in at a place called Sulpher Well. Can anybody tell me if the ramp is still there and if it's a safe place to launch. Also would appreciate some direction on where to find some crappie once I get in the water. I'll be fishing the first week of April with my dad. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Try Mansard Island Resort and Marina

Fishing at that time of the year is good all over Big Sandy.

We've found a good ramp closer to the mouth of Big Sandy. It's wide, concrete, decent dock and fishing pier with handicap access. It's in what I think they call Little Sulphur. Hwy 79 to East Antioch Rd to Port Road.

Yes, I fish like a girl. If you tried a little harder, you could too!!
