State Park Marina

Went up to the marina monday to check on pontoon and charge the batteries, took some minnows and started fishing off the dock. caught a bunch of small bass and crappie, 9 keeper crappie, left at dark, never did work on the pontoon. dont know what this cold spell will do to the fish. the old restaurant was gone, demolished, somebody said they are going to build a condo on the location, i sure
will miss that place to eat. service was slow but food was good.

Heck John thats a shame If they put in condos it will get real sticky trying to fish the cove in cold weather. probably close the ramp and make it private property all arround .... time marches on..

Fishin sure seems to get in the way of "other" activities for me too John.....but i would'nt have it any other way

I'm sure the boat is still waiting. Sometimes the fish aren't.
