    Default Us2

I am having trouble with my US2 when longlining it sometimes will start making a ticking noise and reading depths of 200- 400 feet in 20ft of water! Anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't yet, but haven't had it very long - just curious, what kind of
df are you running on it? I have heard of some transducers having to be
replaced on US though. I'm not so sure if mine craps out I won't just clamp
one on and be done with it - love the hidden cables, but hate stuff being
in the shop to be worked on!

How do you like the 797, is the detail as good as they advertise, can you see objects really that well?

I have a new Terrova w/US2 in the box waiting for my new boat---hope this isn't a widespread problem. Anyone else having a problem?

Rockmike, I think the problem is only at constant high speeds! It does it when longlining!

I haven't had any trouble with mine yet. But, it is kinda hard to break down with the boat sitting on a trailer.

    Strange problem you have here.
