    Thumbs up Sweeeet !!

Looks like those girls have a belly full of something :D Have they been "eatin good, in the neighborhood", or what :p

Hey, jstlovtofish ... how you like that Yammahammer ?? I had one on my last boat ... 70HP 2stroke 1985 model. Strong little motor, ain't they :p ... my old one is still going strong, and never had a major problem with it - in the near 18yrs I had it. It would tach out at 5700 @ WOT ... pushing my Glasstream 1550, with 2 people & gear ... and really scoot along. Had a custom made 3blade SS prop on it, after a couple of years of Alum prop use, and I could really tell a difference in performance/speed.

I love it. This is the first Yamaha that I've had and was a little skeptical at first. This was also the first NEW boat I had ever bought and was kinda worried about that too. When I took it to the water for the first time I was at Arkabutla and ran into a few of the rangers there. They looked the boat over and told me that I had nothing to worry about with that motor on it. They said they run nothing but Yammies on their boats and would never run anything else. I gotta say that made me feel a little bit better. I've had it for nearly two years now and have never been disappointed. It's sure is a zippy little motor. It will push my 17 ft. boat with two people and all the gear around 42 mph. I'm still running the factory aluminum prop. Wonder how much difference a ss prop would make?
