Is it just my imagination or has the site been down frequently during the past couple of weeks? It seems like every time I try to send a Private Message, preview it, make a change, then submit it, that the site goes down for several hours.

Seriously though ... the site has been down a couple of times, lately. Could be Ed doing updates or upgrades, server problems, weather, aliens ... who knows :p
I'm sure Ed is aware of it, and is pursuing the latest and greatest fixes (hardware/software) available. All the more reason for each of us to consider making a small donation so that we can enjoy an uninterrupted "fix" of our favorite hangout.

Ed said his current router wouldn't auto-signin if it lost the connection. He said he was going to upgrade the equipment.

Yes, I need to upgrade my router according to my ISP. I also need to move crappie.com from one server to another server, my one serrver has been crashing lately. That I will be doing either next weekend, or the following weekend. That will reduce half the crashes. The router I still have to shop for. And dang it, this currrent router I just implemented, it's supposed to be better than the one I had, it allowed me to have two web servers, it's a Sonicwall. Oh well, life and computer upgrades will go on!

Now go fishing everyone, it,s a nice weekend.

Had Sonicwall at school. Spent more time managing the firewall than managing the server.
