Your acrylic paint and drill bit works great for putting on eyes! I would have never thought about using a drill bit.

Skip,
I had been using a nail. I tried your idea too with a drill bit and it works a lot better then a nail. It gives you a nicely formed circle. Much better than a flattened tip of a nail or toothpick. Thank you my friend. Keep the ideas flowing.

Thought I had already told you about that. I have been doing my eyes that way for almost 2 years.Originally Posted by shipahoy41

I only knew he was using them because we were getting our jig heads from the same guy back then. The number one reason I started using them was they were so much sharper than Eagle Claw and I have this thing about sharp hooks.
Boy it seems like it's been longer!

Skip,
We were talking about glow paint and some other stuff. I don't remember the drill bit idea, however it is in my arsenol of tips that work now. Thanks again.

I have painted eyes for years and used everything that I could think of. I have a vast assortment of gadgets and rigs for painting eyes. I even thought about getting a eye machine but that's a chunk of $$$ to spend on something that you don't know if you would like to use or not. I am interested in these drill bit dobbers and I am going to give them a try. What could it hurt and I could always use some more drill bits....lol.
They work great and they don't need to be high dollar ones, just flat on the end.Originally Posted by GrouseFly
