I have tried both the gel attractant and the crappie nibbles. Never could tell that the gel attractant did very much. On the other hand, the crappie nibbles work great. I have an assortment of colors in the boat at all times. I have caught crappie, catfish, bass, and bream on jigs tipped with nibbles.

Nibbles are the real deal.....they'll help you put more fish in the boat.

Never used the gel, but the nibbles work. And if you using tube jigs, then the thing to do is get you a bait pump and inject the nibbles into them, they last much longer.. If interested, check out the website at http://www.thebaitpump.com/

I've used the Powerbait 2" grubs and tubes and they work well for me. I've caught fish with those when nothing else works.

I'll tell ya this much last month I accidentally left the nibbles at home and my wife and I almost didn't bother putting the boat in the water!

Me too, I never thought that the gel did worth a flip

Bait pump and nibbles for me also. It's a must have combo.

I like the chartreuse nibbles and the same color GLOW nibbles. I use them when the bite is tough and when I've hit a spot hard, but think there's a few more in there. The nibbles usually give me a few more.

Those nibbles shot inside a little tube using the Baitpump is hard to beat.

Just as I know you've got to have ketchup on a burger, a crappie knows that jigs taste better with nibbles. There is no doubt in my mind...

The nibbles are a must but with out the bait pump its almost a waste....I will differ on the gel. I use it on my solid plastics and I can tell the difference at times. I never fish jigs without one or the other.

Might be a little off topic but dont forget about the original fish formula. When the nibbles aren't producing on a certain body of water here up north, that FF will still tear em up. Squirt it inside the tube or on the twister tail. I even dip my jig in the empty nibbles bottle with a little FF in it.;) When water temps go below 50, the nibbles dont work as good up here. Must not dissolve as well as in warmer water.

What is the best color? If color makes a difference, why would you shoot it inside the tube jig? I use the Gulp version. They are rubbery and they stay on the hook better. Once caught 14 fish on one chartruse Gulp. Just wondering.

The gulp orange grubs get the thumbs up two. I have to cut them into smaller pieces but they stay on good and have the scent that puts them slabs in the boat.
