    What is working this time of the year? I'm getting 5 to 10 per trip, but having to fish super slow! Has to cooler water that came in fast slowed things down?

    Try the streams or rivers feeding the lake you're fishing. Shad should be in them by now.

    Yea cool water will slow them down some, most of the waters i fish are around 50 or so, but i think time of day and weather conditions, are more important. The crappie i am getting seem to be early , daylight to about 8:30 or 9 and late in the afternoon, 4:30 till dark, and it helps to have some cloud cover and some wind, not to much.
    Getting all my fish on a hair jig and bobber of the bank.
