    why not just hang around the cleaning station, at your local lake, and ask for the carcasses -- then you could take heads, belly strips, entrails, or whatever struck your fancy. Anyone cleaning fish would surely not mind you re-using their discarded scraps. And it wouldn't "really" necessarily have to be Crappie eyes ... now would it

    ps - friend of mine uses the rib meat section, of the Crappie he fillets ... and catches Catfish right off his dock ... on Weiss Lake.

    No Cleaning stations on Wateree,Thank God it has not got that big yet.

    Eyes are really "necessarily" Here right now.

    Kinda like different color jigs to a crappieman I am told.


    I am going on some "Old Timers Findings" From This one Lake.

    You know in Texas we could not use that or any other part of a crappie for bait....including the remains after filet. It's against the law.
