Default Wow, Check Out These New Jigs

New stuff for me to use making jigs, but I really like this better than any hair jigs I ever saw. I am a feather fan my self, but I will have to put some of these in my box. So what do you guys and gals think?

Good looking lures Skip! I've been thinking of trying rabbit anyway. You just helped me make the decision to buy some strips. I haven't forgotten about coming for a visit, I'll just have to put something on hold in order to do it.

I only fish on days of the week that end with
a "Y" ...and then, only if it's raining or not.

Wow this is a blast from the past. I posted this 5 years ago, LOL! I do still have one heck of a lot of rabbit strips, heck a whole drawer full to the top. I just wish people wanted it more than they do, because It's great stuff plus I have a ton of it, LOL!
It's been a while since I tied any or used any fishing, but this coming back may just push me bak to using it more both tying and fishing. I just added to my supply with a new color of Blue that I just love and bought a full pre-cut hide of both zonker and one of crosscut so that may also be part of what has got me going again on the rabbit.

Crappie will hit this stuff too!

One more amazing thing, this post got more replies now 5 years later than it did when I first posted it, but think more people have now tried it too.

dandeman come by an time and maybe I can help your tying some anyway. Just let me know to make sure I am home, LOL!

Alot of folks are starting to use them now that they understand them better is my take on it. For tailing I like the regular zonker strips and bodies the crosscut - which I believe is going to help alot of folks who were ?? using them as they wrap really nice.

Theses are some of mine. The first two are regular zonkers the last one is a crosscut used for the body.

Since these are from so long ago I have changed a lot on what I like with them, but here are a few styles I like.

Love these pastel colors like this below and have some Blue and white I really like when the water clears a little.

Also am thinking of cutting down on how much of the crosscut I used on the lower pic. Just thinking about this.
