Way to go Shadow! Man that must have been fun, and with your dad must have made it even better!
Well I manage to get out and bring my dad down to Rockafeller Refuge yesterday and we manage to catch a limit of crabs (12 dozen) and a limit of reds (5 each). The shrimp didn't want to cooperate as good but did manage to get about 7 lbs of some nice shrimp, could have caught a limit of bait shrimp though. Well enough talking here are some pictures.
Here is Dad with a big one on!
and the result. 34 lb black drum.
I caught a smaller one 10 lbs.
The crabs and shrimp from the trip.
A couple pictures of the "pets" down there!
And finally the fish!

I can't leave now; They fixen to turn on.
Nice, you really must have a knack for those flounder too, seems every post has a few hanging out, besides crappie those are my favorite
Not a bad haul at all Dwyane. Congrats on the catch, I already know you enjoyed yourself and I bet you Dad had a blast too. That's gonna make your decision on Larto or saltwater that much harder... Thanks for the pics.
You can't fish with a hung line!
Dwyane..nice bag. How much longer do you think those shrimp are going to hang around? Well I would love to make that trip this weekend, but I want that limit of shrimp and maybe some good fishing. Nice Variety of Catch..

:D Fishing is fun; Catching is better
Dino, unforturnately I think most of the shrimping is over but you may be able to manage a limit before they close the canals on Dec. 1st. I am sure I will try to get at least one more trip in before then. There are still plenty of crabs though.Originally Posted by ftpolkkingfisher
