    Birddog,

I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.

You wash em good and put some fatback and red pepper salt to taste and keep enought water in them to keep it from boiling dry cook till tender - I have added some chicken stock in my water as well - then eat good - I like most greens but collards are my most favoritist

Use cast iron for your cooking, though. That new fangled stuff lined with plastic is not suitable . Stainless will work in a pinch.

Fry up about 4 or 5 strips of fatty bacon in pot you are cooking the greens in. When the bacon is cooked, eat the bacon, add your greens, season to taste on medium heat.

Pretty simple but so good if you put some on your head your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get to it.
