Small clouser minnows are great baits for fly fishing crappies! I think a small deceiver that looks like a shad would do great to.
Has anyone ever tried fly fishing crappie in the spring?? I would think a silver deciever would work well. Anybody have ant experience with this.

Last time I was nightstalking I was watching the bait under the llights and thinking "I have flies that look exactly like that" I might give it a try in the spring. Shoot some docks with some silvery flies.
I don't know if you saw the Disco Jigs I posted, but the light Blue one I would think should be good on a small jig head for that. Here is a pic and the one on the bottom is the one I am talking about. I also have a lot of other colors I am about to tie to take photos of. This material has much more shine that it shows in the pic.Originally Posted by Yank
