Managed to get out a few hours today to try my luck. Water temp. was in the low 60's when I quit.Almost all fish today came from the 12-14 foot range, the Jig bite was more distinctave then the cork. Most of the cork bites were slow an easy,starting with a little lift up then just barely moving it when it stood back up!!The jig was a lttle better thump but some of those felt like hitting a limb!! Sure made it fun-you really got to pay attention!! The fall feed has"nt started yet but should be around the corner!!

Windy (white capping) here. I was loaded and ready to get in the water. I called CrappieHunter right before I started to head out to try to pinpoint his location on the river. He told me to stay home. He was just getting ready to get off the river and load his boat and head home. It was bad on the lake. I unpacked the boat, covered it back up. Came back home. No sense in sitting at the lake being miserable. I can accomplish that here at home. Fish will be there tomorrow.

Tom, it was bad here too, north-Northeast at 10-17 mph.!!Made it tuffer then it was! LOL, jigs were on the bottom before you could count em down!!
