How bout a match?:D
I was wondering if any of you know how to get rid of cattails. There is a creek that runs thru some land I hunt on and me and the owner were both wondering how to get rid of the cattails. It use to run a lot and have several varieties of fish in it but the cattails have almost made it into a marsh. I know they wont grow in deep water but when they die they fall into the water and that piles up and then they just keep going out until they eventually make the creek into nothing but dry land. Below is a pic of them and you can tell how bad they are.

The secret to getting rid of cattails is to wait until the wife and daughters are away from the house! Get the son to catch them, hold them, and then go to work with the "Old Timer"!!!! Just kidding!!
