What's a decent brand of jig pole without spending $45.00+ ea? Also, do you use different pole lengths on spider rigs?

Try these, I checked these out at Crappie camp last week. Yard dog had these, it was very light and well balance and the price for the 10 foot pole was $25. You can also get replacement tip end of pole if you break them. Try this site. www.proanglertackle.com/CrappieRods.htm
