    Default Hey Canepole or someone

Didn't someone post a picture of a TM foot control modified so a handicapped person could use it. I thought it was you Tom but I've been wrong before.

Don't know as I could use the "stickshift" part of that setup .... but, the plate that Tom has the foot control mounted to --- now THAT is an idea I'll be discussing with my fishing partner (and owner of the boat I fish from) :D

    Default Hi Bill,

Link to my old web ain't working as I dropped the service. The money now goes to paying my Drug Plan! haha
Notice in the photo that I installed a bigfoot switch and wired it in parallel with the existing momentary foot control switch. I steered with one hand and put the power to the unit with the foot.

Since my last surgery, I don't need it. I gave it to a handicap fellow in Springville, Tn. I used 2 screws to remove/add handle at my convenience.

Thanks Tom. Someone on an outboard repair forum I use is looking to make something. He's talking about rigging up servos and relays and whatever. By time he gets done it would be cheaper to buy a Minnkota Co-pilot. LOL

You right. I have built some TM steering controls from junk car parts. If I had bought the parts, wow! Not cheap.
