Lake Olathe

Was out at lake Olathe after work on Tuesday was fishing on the east side of the lake across from the beach and kept 18 crappie that were in the 10 to 13" range. Any one around the area might keep this small city lake in mind. KDWP stocks this lake 2 times a year and I talked to one of the guys and he thinks this lake will be a great crappie lake in a year or two. If you look on the Citys website there is a map of the lake that has Gps spots that show where 3 brush piles are at every time I hit these spots I have caught fish. There are still a lot of small ones but if you take time there are some big ones also.

Really...I have often wondered about that lake...I am going to have to try it....How often do you fish it?
