    Default On leave

Hey guys, well I started my leave yesterday and finished all the honey do's. You know what that means, crappie fever. I'm starting my excursion tomorrow on the Hill, and plan on fishing a few other lakes this week and next. If anyone close by wants some company on the lake let me know, I'll be free until 20 Mar. Then I'll be in JimmyS neck of the woods.

You got to love having 20 days off, paid vacation

I'll be there if the weather is good. The Bassmasters are on our lake for the rest of the week. I'm fishing tomorrow and I hope they are not in Soap Creek, they have no respect for the trolling. It is curtesy to slow down until you pass a troller, or go far away. They blew by us the other day and I had to get on the lower deck in order to stay on the boat.

Yeah, I get 4 weeks a year myself. 3 weeks of paid vacation along with paid comp time for number of hours worked. Haven't had it this good since I was with Uncle Sam. I take it by your handle that you are a Drill at Ft. Benning? Are you at Sand Hill? Thats where I went through way back in '88. Alpha 1/50. Good luck fishing on your vacation, I am headed to Cedar Key next weekend for grouper.

I'm a former Drill Sergeant at Ft Gordon, I was on the trail for 3 years. I loved it, but it was very long hours and not enough time to fish .

    Sounds good to me!

The weather is "supposed" to be fantastic that Monday.

Hopefully, I will run into you then!
