Report from Reelfoot at Crappie Masters

I talked with Mississippi Slab, he's fishing the tourney with his partner and some others from Mississippi. He told me that the BEAN bite was hot today before the weather drove them off the lake. I'm sure he will have a hangover by the time they get back at it this morning....Hopefully the weather and fish size will improve for all of them.

Talked to 4 different teams in the Tourney and they all said the bite was horrible. been off since Sunday. Biggest fish caught today was 1.05 lbs..

The bad weather rolled in around 7:00 last night and dropped a inch or rain. Very windy today 20mph plus winds.

That's bad....1.05 for reelfoot with the best tournament crappie anglers in the world. Hope the weather starts cooperating. Fresh water has a way of shutting them down don't it?
