Usually they just die. Slow connectivity has many possibilities. Could be your PC needs a good cleanup. Could be the signal strength has decreased. Could be more people online at the same time in your area. Check to see what processes you have running in teh background. You may be auto-downloading updates or something and that will kill your bandwidth.
