Does anyone use the bright green line or the crappie line from basspro? What do you think?

I use braid and the red stuff. Heard good things from the green though.

Lots of good lines on the market -- hard to go wrong with Trilene XL.

I've used several different brands of hi-vis line, over the years ... and still do.

Mr Crappie Super Hi-vis ... very good line
Stren Gold ... very good line
Berkley Iron Silk ... pretty good line (no longer mfg'd)
Berkley XT Solar ... tuff line, but kind of stiff (no longer mfg'd)

As for regular clear/blu line .... Trilene XL & BPS Excel are hard to beat

If I'm using braid, rather than mono, then PowerPro Yellow 10/2 is my choice. (10# test/2# diameter)
    .......................

currently, I'm using PowerPro (10/2), Mr Crappie (4#), & Stren Gold (4#) on all of my primary Crappie rods. They're serving me quite well.

I have been using the Mr. Crappie 4# on my ultra-lights. I have landed some good catfish, estimated over 5 lbs., and a 24" drum, not to mention the Crappie. I have been so pleased, I went the past week-end and got another spool of the 4#, and a spool of the 6# to go on my Light and Medium action stuff.

Recently turned on to Silver Thread by Sea Bass and so far I like very much! Usually I use Power Pro #8/#1 in moss green and I like it also.
