Denied by my own flesh and blood...
He didn't want to go with me, wanted to go with Grandad instead. My fancy boat on the big lake couldn't pull him from Grandad's beat up old flatbottom on that little cypress oxbow. Turned out to be a good decision on their part! I threw everything I had at em, they weren't impressed...or hungry apparently. I even trolled jig tipped poles in each hand and had some success catching some bass like that, but no crappie.
They had no such troubles in the "little" boat. I don't want to talk about it anymore...
At least I got an invite for dinner!!
