    Ever mounted tranducer in on the bow next to the trolling motor on any type of rod other makeshift holder in lieu of the trolling motor?

    I lke the tolling motor location but I don't like the hassel of hoew it attaches.

    I saw a setup one time where a guy used an old trolling motor mount and shaft that he let up and down with the transducer attached. Now days the trolling motor is the simplest way to go. Like Whiskers said, a big hose clamp and you are done.

    i made an adapter that fit in a pipe one time that stuck out approx 6 feet in front of the trolling motor to get a truer picture---worked fine-had a lot of funny stares--one more thing to keep in the boat--kinda got aggravating---Knappy
