    Talking Depth Finder/ Sonar/Fish Finder???

What's everyones opinion on depth finders spooking fish? How long should you leave them on after you find fish if they do spook fish, or is this simply a myth?

I turn mine off in super shallow water, under 4ft during the spawn. If you place your hand on the transducer, you can feell it pulsating when its on. Not sure if this spooks fish or not but i dont really need it that shallow anyway.
