??? About GPS Module ???

I have a old lowrance lms 350a. I want to hook up the gps . I email lowrance about a module. I was told they didnt make it anymore. I`ve been told that a lgs12w module will work but i was wanting to make sure be4 paying 2bills for it . Thanks for any help or advice.
