Ok guys and gals...I need your input here...My grandbabies have out grown their pool...It's the hard plastic round type...What I need to know...Can I make a small gold fish pond with this pool? Or do you have to have a special kind of pool to do this?
More than likely if you put it in the ground it won't last very long. Not knowing what kind of plastic it is, it could be harmful to the fish. Small preformed ponds are pretty cheap and most places have them on sale at the end of summer. What ever you get you will need a pump with a filter. The pump should pump the volume of the pond at least once an hour. My 1000 gallon watergarden has a 3500 gallon per hour pump. Also rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish per 100 gallon of water.
