Our surface temps are creeping into the low eighties but we're still catching them about 11-feet deep with Rosy Red Minnows under slip floats around brush piles on points that drop off into deeper water. I keep checking for them deeper but nothing yet. They've been biting off and on all day but mid-morning and mid-afternoon seems to be the best times lately.

We've had a couple 16-inchers and several 14 to 15-inchers in the last week and we're catching some nice catfish.

Last Monday we watched gallon jug cruise around for a while and nobody around looking for it. When it got close to one of my brush piles we decided to pull it up and found a nice 12.5-pound blue cat.

There was a phone number on the jug so we called and a couple guys came and got their fish. They had been jug fishing for two days and nights and it was the only fish they caught so they were pretty happy.
