I've used them some, when they're biting curly-tail grubs the sliders seem
to work too - sometimes better, sometimes worse. I'll mix-n-match the
stuff, sometimes use the slider grubs on a regular jig head, or a curly-tail
grub on the slider head. I was kinda doubtful at first about hookups with the
hook buried in the grub, but if they tap it pretty good and you yank, it will
    get 'em.

Rarely used them for crappie, as I prefer marabou/chenille. The 4" worms are great for bass, though. Best feature of crappie sliders is that they're weedless.

I FISH SLIDERS AND CATCH A LOT OF FISH. I LIKE TO LONG LINE TROLL SLIDERS. SLIDERS NEED TO BE FISHED A LITTLE FASTER THAN CURLY TAILS TO GET A SWIMMING ACTION. MINNOW HEADS WITH # 4 HOOKS ALLOW THE SLIDER PADDLE TAIL TO WORK PROPERLY. RED HEAD WITH JUNEBUG/CHARTREUSE SLIDERS ARE MY FAVORITE COLORS.

Slider style baits can be real effective at times. I tend to catch a little better fish with them sometimes because their body is a little bigger than most 2 inch curly tails. Just my $.02.

In the spring time during spawn when they are on the banks I really like casting sliders up to shore. Can catch a lot of fish that way. Just usually catch the smaller males so I don't consider it a slab pattern. If you get a kick out of catching a lot of fish it can be a very enjoyable type of crappie fishing. During the rest of the year my sliders remain tucked away in their plastic compartments.

Stinkie, I personally don`t like sliders, but know many who have good results with them. I would not use the weedless hook, but the 1inch version on a 1/32 jighead would probably be good in your bream fishing.
