Caught a few.....pics

Spent a few days at the lake. Caught a few fish. Had some visitors. Shot the bull. Life is good.

Jeff White came up. We went out in his Ocean Liner and he was nice enough to show me some pretty neat trolling tricks. We hit the river about 2 pm Sat eve. Wind was up and it was chilly. Front had moved in so the fishes were somewhat reluctant. We got in a lot of talk time.

Paul and Vonna came over after they got off the lake. We chowed down and bulled up. We had a terific time. I ate too much.

Sunday morn (not early) Jeff and I went Jon Boating. We picked up a few keepers and a bunch of dinks. Fish were in 10 to 11 foot water. Nobody else was home at other depths (or they weren't answering the dinner bell).
Jeff snagged a double hook rig with two live minners still attached. The boat in front of us lost it. I tied it on a line I had just broken and walla, I caught as fish on the minnow rig I just tied on . First for me here. haha

Finally got to try out my Suzy four stroker.

Honey was busy too.

We all had a large time.

Hope I didn't talk your ears off too bad. I think Mr. Tom has been
feeding the fish or something, we caught several 9, 9 1/2" fish that
was too fat to fit down in the EZ checker thing :D

He gave me a good lesson too, caught three or four before I even got
a bite. He had to loan me one of his wife's lucky rods with a bobber
before I could catch the first one - after that, they started hitting on
my rod May have to ask her if I can borrow one just to have
in the boat for luck during the tournament :D

I can't wait till October, gonna have a good time no matter what the
fishing does. Well, gotta run - I THOUGHT I got away with staying gone
fishing all weekend, but my dear wife bought a refridgerator while I was
gone, gotta drive 35 miles to go pick it up this evening Payback!

Nice lookin mess of fish. I really like that dock with all the stake beds under it.
