    does any one know how this reel is supposed to work live bait i was considering buying this but how does this work is it good for crappie answer back asap

    it allows the bait to pull a very light settable drag, then flip the switch and you have your full drag on the reel. used them a lot in saltwater. not sure how it would work with crappie minnows
