    I know what you mean fishin-n- wishn I've got mine in it's case in a drawer,don't know if it's faceing north or up,lol

    Course up.
    Makes it easy and the screen is not spinning wild. Both of mine in the boat is set that way.

    I do not use north up. I use track up (may be the same as map up). Translating coordinate systems in my head to relate north up to my current path makes my head hurt after a while.

    I can't deal with N up as I need the map to be just as I am looking. Just can't see the need to have to adjust in my head which way is me Vs the map. Having anything other than the map looking just like the boat is will just make me take more time to find anything.
