Hey I feel your pain we had close to 15" of rain here during the month of August! Get out there and fish!
Guess it's time for me to take my tail down to my boat and get a little fishing in since it may rain and storm for a while now.
They say this darn thing is going to be here for 2 days and then they don't know what it's going to do. Stay here or go back out to the Gulf? Crud!
And I just got my GPS working. The extension cable was bad, go figure.

We will take all the rain you can send to Ga/Fla! Many lakes have closed ramps do to low water. Please keep the wind and lighting. It is also hot so a cold front would be nice also.
It didn't rain at my house in August......only a trace in july, but we got 3 inch's last week wooohooooo!!!
We are close to 15" deficet this year. DNR just upgraded to sever drought. I go past 3 closed landings to find one with water.
We had that problem the last 3 years and the last 2 very low water, but this year the rain has returned and not even close to the last 3. However now I wouldn't mind a little rain mind you, but SE Texas doesn't need 10"-20" from this storm and that is what they are saying. I am a little North of that, but we may still see a lot of rain.
I feel you guys pain and remember it well as it was such a short time ago we were begging for rain too. I am pulling for you to get some!
Good Luck with that too!

May God be with you. Keep CALM and STAY ANCHORED with your faith.

We're fishing on the dirt cuz the water is all gone in some of the borrow pits here. Can't get a boat in some of the Ox bows and the lakes are WAAAAAYYYYYYYYY down
