    Default Caught 3 today


    I went today and caught 3 crappie after a shower came through. The water on the ramp side is low, so i fished the other side, from the bank. I was so desperate that I climbed a locked gate (darned TWRA). With the water so low, I'm not sure of the depth of the water. I was fishing about 8 foot with a slip floater, next to the concrete spillway, it used to be in about 17 foot on one side. My bait was a minnow.

    they weren't very big, about 11 inch's, but here those are keepers.

    Went out today for about 1 1/2hrs.We got 5 gills 2 bass and 1 perch.Heat got to us,couldn't take it.Came home tied some jigs.Wanted to mold some heads and my melter quit on me.Got some sickle hooks to try.
