Question Suggestions On Where To Stay

I'm gonna go to Paris for the Classic this year. I can't imagine not going & it this close to home. Want to go brush elbows with the Big Boys in the Crappie Game. Might learn something, plus I know I'll get to meet some fine people.

Some of you locals chime in. I'm bring'n my boat. Where would be some good places to stay? I plan on coming down on the 9th & getting settled in. I will stay thru the 13th. Any help would be apreciated!

    Hey Wiskers,
Your best bet would be to stay at Mansard Island. They have a marina, slips, and a bait shop. The number there is 731-642-5590. It's going to be a little tuff to get a room any where unless you go ahead and reserve one some where. If you have any problems, give me a shout.

Hey Wiskers, it's not waterfront, but me n David stayed at Fishtale lodge
last weekend - it's pretty nice in my opinion anyhow. Back the boat and
truck right up to the room without unhooking and plug in to charge batteries.
Look me up while you're there, I ought to get up there the 9th or 10th -
at least that is the plan right now. Gonna camp somewhere, wherever
we can get a site during the whing-ding

    Hey J White,
The Fishtail is booked solid for that week. With the Crappieusa Classic being here that week, it will be hard to find a room anywhere unless you make a reservation now.

there's a pretty nice campground about 2 miles (guessing) by water from the bridge at Paris Landing State Park. It's located in Land Between the Lakes. It's called Piney. They have nice electric sites for campers or tents. Some have water and sewer. They also have shower and restroom facilities.I think it's less than 20 bucks a night. You can visit LBL's website and check it out.
I'm not sure if this is close enough or not..but the info is there.lol

Yeah Richard, I figured it might be getting booked up, but didn't know
    it was already full

We're planning on staying in my camper somewhere, hope we can find a spot!

If not, there's always the Wal-Mart parking lot
