    Default Slab City!!!

    Hey guys,
with the water down to 67 degrees the slabbers are putting on the feed bag before they move out to warmer water prior to ice up.

We have been under bridges and working around floating swimming platforms casting my hairjig under a cork .

There's nothing better than crappie for table fare.

however the walleyes are great too.

We have also been getting into some smaller smallies on the UL's,what a fight they give a guy.

News like that makes me REAL happy that summer is winding down so I'll actually have time to fish on the weekends again!!

We're pretty far North here (43deg N) and have been getting down into the 50's at night. Haven't checked water temps recently, but imagine we're getting some decent cooling. Maybe next weekend....

Those look good Keith. Pretty soon you will be talking snow and ice fishing up there in MN. Down here it is still hot as the dickens, the lake levels are pretty low, and lake temperatures are pretty high. Those will taste pretty good. Nice job.
