I'm new here and looking for advice. I've got several buddies heading for a fishing weekend to salamonie 9/14. We've never fished there so I'm looking for some pointers.

Mainly we fish for Crappie and gills, but enjoy whatever we catch.

Go to the indiana board. It's small but maybe someone will reply.

I think you might be having trouble finding the indiana board. Go about half way down to state message board in black. Then leave your message there. It's been over 20 years since I fished there. I'd try up by the bridge fishing about 10-20ft. deep. There's not much around so bait might be hard to find. There's a place called peace pipe that is still open. My boy fishes there sometimes . Sorry but thats about all I can tell ya. Good luck
