    they are one of the best striper baits that I use in the winter, along with 1/4oz white road runners. Have never caught a crappie on them though.

    I cast them and retrive back, trolling is not something that cannot be done in the flooded timber that I fish in Missouri. I like the white ones with the black stripe on top.

    Blue back with a pink 1/32 jig is my favorite all time crappie lure to cast in the spring unless water is muddy.

    They can be hard to rig to keep from rolling.

    They can be trolled and do well but make sure they are rigged straight.

    I have used them on lake of the ozarks with decent results but they seem to be awesome below bagnell dam. I usually use the 1 1/2 inch on 1/16 ounce roadrunner heads,anything that swims down there will hit them but the majority of the fish i catch with them is crappie.
