    not looking to protect myself from myself, i am looking to protect my self from ID thieft. we were able tp gain access to business excel sheets and lots of things just from putting in their number.

    That's the businesses not being/knowing how to be secure or they may want them out there for the public to view...
    Even if you get yourself removed from Google, if someone wants to find you online they will, there's no way to stop it. You just have to know how and where to look.

    There is a company out there right now collecting cell phone numbers. They in turn sell the numbers to marketeers. Cell phones are no longer immune to solicitation. I have heard rumors of extravagant text message bills.

    This is all legal folks. Just like your home phone number; it is not private. You can have your number unlisted, but it is not private. It is Census.

    unwanted calls but will stop most of them.

    You need to call From the phone you wish to registry, including the cell
    phone.
