I have been very pleased with Dual Pro chargers. Have also heard a lot of good things about Guest Chargers.
Well I thought I had a battery going bad, but after using a portable charger and re-testing the batteries, it appears that my on-board charger isn't fully charging the batteries. I currently use a 24 volt trolling system and have a 3 bank charger with 15 amps per bank. Any recommendations as to what kind of charger is the best out there right now. It looks like the Pro Charger and the Minn Kota are the best two offered by Bass Pro and Cabelas, but I'm reading mixed reviews for the Minn Kota brand. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I bought a new Guest dual bank charger/maintainer off e-bay. I think I paid $30 for it and its worked great for about 3 years now.

I have a Guest 3 bank 45 amp. It works great and you can leave it plugged in indefinately, as it goes to trickle mode once charge is complete. They also have have great customer service.
I've got a Guest 2 bank and it works great - get's a charge back on them quick, then goes into trickle charge mode to keep the batteries healthy. Father-in-law bought a brand new 3 bank and gave me his old 2 bank, so the price was right too !
Haven't had a problem with my Minn in the three years I've owned it. Three banker. I use it 30+ times per year.

I have a Guest that is 6 yrs old now, no problems and it gets used a lot.

I used a ProSport II 12 amp two bank with fine results for a couple years before I went to a three battery setup, and now use a ProSport II 20 Plus.
These are available from Cabelas.
The two bank went to a buddy and it is working fine for him.
I like that you can leave these things hooked up as long as you like. They don't boil the water out. I haven't had to add water in three years.
