    Default this stuff really happens

Last night i went to the emer room w/ a hook in my arm, it seems that cieling fans really really like power pro braid. well............. i got there at 7 and at 11 i still had a hook in my arm. at this point i went outside to where some redneck boys were standing, and recruted their help, 1 of them pulled the skin tight as i pushed the hook thru and a greazy set of dykes came out and off came the barb
i backed it out and was on my way

Does n e 1 have or know how to remove a hook with fishing line.

and the funny thing is that if lil hadnt been here i wiould have been stuck there til Kris (whos a nurse) came home from work at 2am. I dont know how fast that fan spins but its quick enuff to very very rapidly take up alot of line, in fact i didnt even know what had happened, what i did know was that i couldnt reach the switch that shuts off the fan or my box w/ the scissors in it i was trapped w/ my arm over my head unable to spit or git off the pot. i also know that the cieling fan in that room shall never be turned on again!

hope y'all enjoyed reading this as much as i did writing it lol

First you double same line and tie an over hand knot. Making a loop big enough for it to go over the hook and throw a finger. Then put the loop over the hook. With the flat part of the hook facing up put some pressure on the shank ,maybe 1/3 up from the eye. That should free the barb and you should be able to pull it out easy by pulling on the looped line .

You need to see it to be able to remove a hook with fishing line, its hard to explain. Its really is easy and something we should all know how to do.
Did the Back seater have to go to the doc? Hope he didnt drown.Just kidding.I bet that was a scary time.Hope your eye is ok.

Glad you got that hook out. Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid fishing with my Dad lol I put one in his arm. He pushed it thru, cut the barb, and went back to fishing after he got it out lol.
