Default Did a small field test today on the new type tail

Didn't get out for crappie, but just had to see what the bream around my dock would do with it so I tied a 1/32 with a #8 hook and went to see. These bream don't hit just anything like some as they get tested a lot, LOL! However I caught a good number (didn't keep any) and caught some with just the jig and some with the jig with a crappie nibble on it. Lots of hits and they were biting better than I can remember in a good while.

Here is a pic of the jig in my hand for size reference....

Here is a full size 1/16 with #4 Sickle....

Also have a new color blue paint and want to see if anyone likes it....

Best part of tying your own has got to be the field testing. Nice looking jig Skip.

One of these days (maybe this winter) I'll get myself a kit and give it a try.
